them on a table.  This would allow members to read them and see what is happening with other clubs.  It was suggested that a couple of people help Teresa with the newsletter such as finding articles for her to publish, etc.  A discussion was held and it was decided to let the editor know that the newsletter could be expanded.

Fundraiser:  Sharon reported that she will be unavailable from August 16th to September 2 and will not be here to do the raffle table for the September show.  She asked that everyone please help Gayla with the raffle.  Flyers need to be made for the raffle.

Old Business:
Nominating Committee: The nominating committee still needs to be formed.  The nominating committee will need to come up with candidates for the following offices, President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.  Elections will be held in October with new officers taking over their duties in January.  Suzanne Zerker and Linda Fleisch volunteered to be on the committee.  A reminder was given that those serving on the committee cannot run for office.

Meetings:  Linda Fleish asked about the scheduling of the meetings so that she could coordinate it with the library.  Meetings are usually held the 3rd week of the month.

Picnic:  The picnic will be held on July 22 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm.  A discussion was held regarding what meat the club would provide.  Members are to bring a dish to pass. RSVPs are to go to Linda Beeman so that she will know what food people are bringing as well as how many family members are attending.  No alcoholic beverages will be allowed since this is a family function.

New Business:
A suggestion was made to form a library for club members.  A discussion followed.  No decision was made at this time.

Motion was made by Suzanne seconded by Victor to adjourn. Motion carried.

Respectfully submitted,

Kam Pelham-Polk, Secretary
